.:: EAMCET, ICET, ECET, EdCET 2011 Exam Dates Announced ::.

EAMCET to be held on May 8, 2011. 


EAMCET-2011 will be held on May 8, 2011, and like last year, it will fall on a Sunday. JNTU-Hyderabad will conduct the exam. Icet will be conducted on May 15, Ecet on May 20 and Edcet on June 4, 2011. Eamcet-2011 will be held on May 8, 2011, and like last year, it will fall on a Sunday. JNTU-Hyderabad will conduct the exam.
The minister for higher and technical education, Mr Damodara Rajanarasimha, on Thursday released the schedule for CETs at the Secretariat. Icet will be conducted on May 15, Ecet on May 20 and Edcet on June 4, 2011. While there were fears of the government delaying the CETs this year, it has actually advanced the exams by two to three weeks.
Andhra University has been asked to conduct Icet, Osmania University Edcet and JNTU-Hyderabad has been asked to conduct Ecet.
The schedule for the remaining CETs will be announced shortly. “We have advanced Eamcet by 22 days this year.
Eamcet marks will be declared within 15 days and the ranks will be announced later after taking 25 per cent weightage for Intermediate marks into consideration.
The weightage for Inter marks in Eamcet will remain at 25 per cent and there will be no changes in conducting the Eamcet medical stream exam,” said Mr Rajanarasimha.
The minister said the government would take necessary steps to prevent malpractices in Eamcet like last year when some students used technology like Bluetooth in the medical stream exam. “We have proposed to install jammers in the exam centres to check such malpractice. We will convene a meeting with Eamcet officials within a week to discuss steps to be taken to check malpractice,” he said.

.:: EAMCET, ICET, ECET, EdCET 2011 Exam Dates Announced ::.

Andhra Pradesh Minister for Higher Education, Raja Narasimha announced the dates of 2011 Common Entrance Tests which include EAMCET, ICET, ECET and EdCET. EAMCET results will be announced within 15 days from the exam date. The 25 per cent weightage of Intermediate marks for EAMCET 2011 would continue this year too. EAMCET marks would be tentatively declared on May 24 and the ranks on July 20. The exam notification would be released in the first week of February.

EAMCET and ECET would be conducted by JNTU, ICET would be conducted by Andhra University and EdCET by Osmania University.

Examination Schedule

• EAMCET 2011: May 8, 2011
• ICET 2011 : May 15, 2011
• ECET 2011 : May 20, 2011
• EdCET 2011 : June 4, 2011
• PG ECET 2011 : July 6-11, 2011

   1 Year I Semester B.Tech/B.Pharm End Semester Regular Examinations will commence from 31-1-2011 and practical examinations will be conducted from 14-02-2011 onwards. University decided these dates after taking into consideration all the requests of faculty and students.
