Finishing School- Walk in Interview for B.Tech & MCA 2010 passed out students of East Godavari Dist
Objective:
40 Day Finishing School (Special Training Program) for SC/ST/BC/MINORITIES - 2010 passed out B.Tech/MCA Students of East Godavari District enabling them to be placed in MNCs/Industries, providing world class training.
No. of students: 100 economically backward and socially challenged MCA/B.Tech graduates
Eligibility: All Colleges of the State are requested to sponsor 2010 passed out MCA/B.Tech students from each college who will be interviewed on Monday, 13th September and finally 100 students who studied in any part of the country but are native to East Godavari District only will be selected by interview. The students must be native to East Godavari District only, that is, they might have studied B.Tech. in any part of the country but they must have done majority of their studies in East Godavari District
Syllabus: Syllabus followed in Finishing Schools of National repute.
Time: 08.00 am to 05.00 pm
Venue: A/C Sem. Hall, TTDC, DRDA, Samalkot, E.G.Dt. (100% Residential)
How to apply: 2010 Passed out MCA/B.Tech Graduates who secured 60.00% or above in MCA/B.Tech in any Branch of engineering only are eligible and may apply directly by mail to egdrda@gmail.com or hcejntuk@gmail.com or Finishingschoolegdt@gmail.com or send their application on a white paper to Project Director, DRDA, Opp. Govt. General Hospital, Kakinada or Prof. KVSG Murali Krishna, JNTU, Kakinada-3. Appear for a walk in interview in Civil Engineering Department Seminar Hall, JNTU, Kakinada along with Photostat copies of Caste Certificate, Certificate of Qualifying Examination i.e. B.Tech/MCA.
Training: World Class Training will be given to the Trainees for 40 days and the students will be appearing in Interviews of several MNCs of IT as well as Core Companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Honeywell, IBM, GVK, NFCL and Reliance. The Intensive training will make the students Job-ready and Market-ready. Training will be given on Soft Skills, Aptitude and Attitude, Technical skills, Problem solving, Writing Resume, Group Discussions, Interview facing techniques and Oral and Written communication Skills.
Accommodation: The course is 100% Residential. Well furnished Hostels for Boys and Girls will be provided separately in TTDC, DRDA, Samalkot. Lodging and Boarding will be provided Free of Cost in the same premises.
Course Fee: The cost of the Project is Rs. 12 Lakhs which comes out to be Rs. 10,000 for each trainee. However, all the facilities will be provided Free of Cost to the Trainees as the main expenditure is sponsored by Collector, E.G.Dt. and his team of officials. The amount of Rs.10,000/- will be recovered from the candidates in one or two installments after they get placement.
Selection Criteria: The applications will be thoroughly scrutinized and all the eligible candidates will Appear for a walk-in interview in JNTU, Kakinada at 9.00am on Monday, the13th September 2010. The shortlisted candidates will be informed the same evening and they are supposed to submit their Originals and join the program at Samalkot on 19th September. Classes will commence at 8.00am on 20th September 2010. Once joined Trainees will not be permitted to leave the premises for 40 days.
